1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Book My Official ("BMO," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. BMO is a marketplace that connects sports teams and organizations with qualified referees and officials for games and sporting events.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use BMO. Officials under 18 may register only with verifiable parent or guardian consent. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. User Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You agree to notify BMO immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • BMO reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Bookings and Payments

BMO facilitates bookings between teams and officials. By submitting a booking request:

  • Teams agree to pay officials at the confirmed pay rate per game.
  • Officials agree to fulfill confirmed bookings or provide timely notice of cancellation.
  • Pay rates are set by officials with a platform minimum of $45 per game.
  • Payments are made directly between teams and officials (e.g., via Venmo). BMO may charge a platform service fee for applicable plan tiers.
  • BMO is not responsible for disputes between teams and officials regarding payment.

5. Official Verification

Officials may submit credentials for voluntary verification. BMO makes reasonable efforts to review submitted credentials but does not guarantee the accuracy of any official's certifications, qualifications, or background. Teams are responsible for conducting their own due diligence when selecting officials.

6. Subscription Plans

BMO offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid plans are billed according to the selected billing period (monthly, 6-month, or annual). Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled at BMO's discretion.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use BMO for any unlawful purpose
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
  • Attempt to circumvent platform fees or payments
  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute BMO content without permission

8. Limitation of Liability

BMO is a marketplace and is not a party to contracts between teams and officials. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BMO is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to missed games, no-shows, or payment disputes.

9. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account at any time through your profile settings. Deletion may result in permanent removal of your profile, bookings history, and associated data. Active subscriptions or pending payments are not automatically refunded upon deletion.

10. Changes to Terms

BMO reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use of BMO after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
